Meatballs
Method
Preparation
- 1
Make the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Shape the Meatballs
Form the mixture into balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- 3
Fry the Meatballs
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 10-12 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- 4
Prepare the Marinara Sauce
In a separate pot, add your favorite marinara sauce and simmer on low heat while you cook the spaghetti.
- 5
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
- 6
Combine and Serve
Toss the cooked spaghetti with the marinara sauce. Serve the spaghetti topped with the meatballs and additional parmesan cheese.
