Oyster Rockefeller Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oysters

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Clean the oysters under cold water and carefully shuck them, placing them on a baking tray.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into small pieces, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt. Add minced garlic and diced red bell pepper, cooking until softened. Stir in corn, cooked bacon, and cream cheese until combined. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Oysters

Spoon the creamy sauce generously over each oyster. Mix bread crumbs with grated Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over the top.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake the oysters in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
