Crab Imperial Ingredients

Method

Crab Imperial Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare Crab Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, and breadcrumbs. Gently fold the mixture until well combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Add Eggs

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and then fold them into the crab mixture until just combined.

  3. 3

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 4

    Prepare Baking Dish

Grease a baking dish and pour the crab mixture into it, spreading it evenly.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the mixture is set.

  6. 6

    Toast English Muffins

While the crab imperial is baking, toast the English muffins until golden brown.

  7. 7

    Prepare Poached Eggs

Poach the eggs according to your preferred method.

  8. 8

    Assemble the Dish

To serve, place a toasted English muffin half on each plate, top with a generous portion of crab imperial, add a poached egg on top, and drizzle with hollandaise sauce. Serve with breakfast potatoes on the side.
