Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon and Onions

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet. Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Mushrooms

Add the sliced wild mushrooms to the skillet with the caramelized onions. Sauté until the mushrooms are tender and browned, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and black pepper. Gently fold in the jumbo lump crab meat and cooked bacon.

  4. 4

    Combine and Cook the Frittata

Pour the egg mixture over the mushroom and onion mixture in the skillet. Cook on medium heat until the edges begin to set, about 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese on top.

  5. 5

    Bake the Frittata

Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the frittata is set and lightly golden on top.

  6. 6

    Serve with Arugula Salad

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with arugula salad on the side.
