Cheese Dip and Toppings
Method
Preparation
- 1
Cook the Chorizo
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chorizo until fully browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, monterey jack cheese, pepper jack cheese, and sour cream. Mix until well combined.
- 3
Combine Chorizo and Cheese
Fold the cooked chorizo into the cheese mixture until evenly distributed.
- 4
Bake the Dip
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden on top.
- 5
Add Toppings
Remove from the oven and top with pico de gallo, guacamole, and crushed pork rinds.
- 6
Serve
Serve warm with corn tortilla chips on the side for dipping.
