Bread Pudding

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bread Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the stale bread cubes and chocolate chips. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and peanut butter until smooth.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet mixture over the bread and chocolate chips. Gently fold to ensure all bread is soaked.

  5. 5

    Bake the Pudding

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is set and slightly golden.

  6. 6

    Serve Warm

Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on top.
