Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pineapple Salsa

In a bowl, combine diced pineapple, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Vegetables

In a steamer or a pot with a steaming basket, steam the mixed vegetables until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Rice

If not already cooked, prepare the rice according to package instructions. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Mango-Sriracha Aioli

In a small bowl, mix together the diced mango, sriracha sauce, and mayonnaise until well combined. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Season and Cook the Tuna

Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels. Coat each side with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness).

  6. 6

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, serve a portion of steamed vegetable rice, top with the blackened tuna, and garnish with pineapple salsa. Drizzle with the mango-sriracha aioli.
