Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Puff Pastry

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface to smooth out any creases. Cut each sheet into rectangles of approximately 3x5 inches. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and prick the center with a fork to prevent puffing. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.

  2. 2

    Make the Whipped Cream

In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Macerated Berries

In a bowl, combine the fresh seasonal berries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Gently toss and let sit for about 15 minutes to allow the berries to release their juices.

  4. 4

    Make the White Chocolate Sauce

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. If needed, add a teaspoon of heavy cream to thin it out. Set aside to cool slightly.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Napoleon

On a serving plate, layer one piece of puff pastry, spread a generous amount of whipped cream, add a layer of macerated berries, and drizzle some white chocolate sauce. Repeat the layers with another piece of puff pastry, followed by more whipped cream, berries, and sauce. Top with a final piece of puff pastry and garnish with additional whipped cream, berries, and a drizzle of white chocolate sauce.
