Seafood and Pasta
Method
Preparation
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Marinara Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3
Add Tomatoes and Simmer
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4
Cook the Seafood
Add the mussels, clams, and shrimp to the marinara sauce. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels and clams have opened and the shrimp is cooked through.
- 5
Combine with Pasta
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce. Stir in fresh basil.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Seafood Fettuccine Arrabiata hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
