Pork Chop Marsala

Grilled Asparagus

Method

Pork Chop Marsala

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté until they are browned. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer until slightly thickened.

  3. 3

    Combine and Finish

Return the pork chops to the skillet and simmer for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Stir in butter before serving.

Gnocchi

  1. 4

    Prepare the Dough

Boil the potatoes until fork-tender, then drain and mash. Combine mashed potatoes, flour, egg, and salt in a bowl and mix until a dough forms.

  2. 5

    Shape the Gnocchi

Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into ropes. Cut into bite-sized pieces and create ridges using a fork.

  3. 6

    Cook the Gnocchi

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the surface. Remove with a slotted spoon and toss with olive oil and grated Parmesan.

Grilled Asparagus

  1. 7

    Prepare the Asparagus

Preheat your grill. Toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  2. 8

    Grill the Asparagus

Place the asparagus on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.
