Method

Pan Seared Tuna

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tuna

Season the tuna steaks with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the tuna for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if desired.

Brown Sugar Pineapple Glaze

  1. 2

    Make the Glaze

In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry, then add to the saucepan. Stir until thickened.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 3

    Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

Boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and return to pot. Mash with butter, milk, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.

Mixed Grilled Vegetables

  1. 4

    Grill the Vegetables

Toss bell peppers, zucchini, and red onion with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Grill over medium heat until tender and slightly charred.

Pea Tendrils

  1. 5

    Sauté the Pea Tendrils

Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add pea tendrils and sauté until just wilted. Season with salt to taste.

Fried Onions

  1. 6

    Fry the Onions

Dredge thinly sliced onions in flour and season with salt. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan. Fry the onions until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
