Panna Cotta
Method
Panna Cotta Preparation
- 1
Prepare Gelatin
In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 2 tablespoons of cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
- 2
Heat Cream and Milk
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is hot, but not boiling.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Remove the saucepan from heat, and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Add the crumbled Humboldt Fog cheese and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- 4
Chill the Mixture
Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
