Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Clean the portabello mushrooms and remove the stems. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, fresh thyme, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture on both sides of the mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Grill the Mushrooms

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks. Remove from the grill and keep warm.

  3. 3

    Cook the Filet Mignon

Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper. In a skillet over high heat, add olive oil. Sear the filets for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust cooking time based on your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Crabmeat

In a small bowl, gently mix the crabmeat with a little salt and pepper. You can add a splash of lemon juice for extra flavor.

  5. 5

    Assembly

On each plate, place a grilled portabello mushroom, top with a portion of crabmeat, and place the filet mignon beside it. Crumble blue cheese over the dish before serving.
