Prepare the Fruit
Wash and hull the strawberries if using whole. Combine all mixed berries in a blender.

Make the Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Blend the Ingredients
Add the cooled syrup and lemon juice to the blended berries. Blend until smooth.

Chill and Freeze
Pour the berry mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 4 hours, stirring every hour to break up ice crystals.

Scoop the sorbet into bowls and garnish with mint leaves before serving.
