Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid breaking up the crab meat.
- 2
Add Bindings
Add the egg and bread crumbs to the mixture. Fold in the green onions. Ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
- 3
Form the Cakes
Using your hands, form the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 4
Chill
Cover the crab cakes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
- 5
Cook the Cakes
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
