Burrata with Chermoula and Accompaniments

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Pickled Onions

Thinly slice the red onion and place it in a bowl. Pour rice vinegar over the onions and let them pickle for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Charred Tomatoes

Preheat a grill or skillet over high heat. Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill or char the tomatoes until they blister and soften, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

    Crispy Shiitake Mushrooms

Thinly slice shiitake mushrooms. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on a paper towel.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

On a serving plate, place the Burrata in the center. Drizzle with Chermoula sauce. Arrange charred tomatoes, pickled onions, crispy shiitake mushrooms, and sprinkle ham powder over the top. Garnish with pea shoots.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately while the Burrata is fresh and creamy.
