Method
Omelet Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, combine crawfish tails, chopped green onions, and Boursin cheese. Mix well and set aside.
- 2
Whisk the Eggs
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined and slightly frothy.
- 3
Cook the Omelet
Heat olive oil (or butter) in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes or until the edges start to set.
- 4
Add the Filling
Once the omelet is mostly set, spoon the crawfish and Boursin mixture onto one half of the omelet.
- 5
Fold and Finish Cooking
Carefully fold the omelet over the filling and let it cook for another 1-2 minutes until fully cooked through and the cheese is melted.
- 6
Serve
Slide the omelet onto a plate and garnish with additional green onions if desired. Serve hot.
