Waffle Preparation

Make the Waffle Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then mix in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; do not overmix.

Cook the Waffles
Preheat the waffle iron. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown.

Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Hot Honey-Glazed Fried Chicken

Marinate the Chicken
Soak the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes to tenderize.

Prepare the Coating
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture.

Fry the Chicken
Heat oil in a deep skillet. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Glaze the Chicken
In a small saucepan, combine honey and hot sauce. Warm over low heat until combined. Drizzle over the fried chicken before serving.
