Crust Preparation
- 1
Make the Crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined and press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- 2
Bake the Crust
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
Cheesecake Filling
- 3
Prepare the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- 4
Bake the Cheesecake
Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust. Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly ajar for about an hour.
- 5
Cool and Chill
Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serving
