Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Sauté the Asparagus and Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the asparagus pieces and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender. Then, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.

Combine Ingredients
Add the drained angel hair pasta to the skillet with the shrimp and asparagus. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce. Stir in the chopped mint and basil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional herbs if desired.
