Prep the Shrimp
Rinse the Gulf shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Prepare the Vegetables
Dice the red bell pepper and tomatoes, and mince the garlic.
Cooking

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Bell Pepper
Add the diced red bell pepper to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.

Add Tomatoes and Spices
Stir in the diced tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes begin to break down and create a sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the seasoned Gulf shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
