Salmon

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, chili paste, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Whisk together until well combined. Place the Chinook salmon fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Cook the Salmon

Preheat your grill or pan over medium heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  2. 3

    Stir-fry the Vegetables

While the salmon is cooking, heat a small amount of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the snow peas and chopped green onions, and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.

Serving

  1. 4

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled salmon on a plate with the stir-fried snow peas and green onions on the side. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro before serving.
