Roasted Savoy Cabbage
Method
Preparation Instructions
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2
Prepare the Cabbage
Remove any damaged outer leaves from the Savoy cabbage. Cut the cabbage into wedges, leaving the core intact.
- 3
Season the Cabbage
In a large bowl, toss the cabbage wedges with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
- 4
Roast the Cabbage
Place the cabbage wedges on a baking sheet cut side down. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the cabbage is tender.
- 5
Prepare Miso Maple Butter
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the miso paste and maple syrup until smooth and well combined.
- 6
Serve
Once the cabbage is roasted, remove it from the oven and drizzle the miso maple butter over the wedges. Serve warm.
