Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds. If using strawberries, slice them as well. Place all the fruits into a large pitcher.

  2. 2

    Combine the Ingredients

Add the red or white wine, Grand Marnier, and simple syrup into the pitcher with the fruits. Stir gently to combine.

  3. 3

    Add Spices

Add the cinnamon stick and cardamom pods to the mixture.

  4. 4

    Chill the Sangria

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. For best results, let it sit overnight.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the sangria over ice in glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
