Scones Preparation

Make the Scone Dough

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the sugar and dried cranberries. Gradually add milk, mixing just until combined.

Shape and Bake

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently. Pat into a circle about 1 inch thick. Cut into wedges and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Make the Maple Butter

In a bowl, mix together softened butter and maple syrup until well combined. Set aside.

Tea Brewing

Brew the Tea

Boil water and steep the selected loose leaf teas for 5-7 minutes. Strain and serve in teapots.

Fruit & Cheese Platter Assembly

Assemble the Platter

Arrange local cheeses and seasonal fruits on a serving platter for guests to enjoy alongside scones and tea.
