Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the striploin steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Drizzle olive oil on the grill. Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time as needed for desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.

Making Garlic Butter

  1. 3

    Prepare Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped parsley and lemon juice. Remove from heat.

Frying Crispy Onions

  1. 4

    Fry the Onions

In a bowl, toss the sliced onions with flour until coated. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the onions in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

Cooking Hakurei Turnips

  1. 5

    Cook the Turnips

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the halved Hakurei turnips, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until tender and caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.
