Marinated Salmon

Method

Marinate the Salmon

    Prepare the Marinade

    In a bowl, combine the chopped chives, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

    Marinate the Salmon

    Place the salmon filet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the Salsa

    Cook the Salsa

    In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced cucumber and red onion, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until softened.

    Add Tomatoes and Season

    Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and fold in the fresh basil.

Make the Spiced Butter

    Combine Ingredients

    In a bowl, mix the softened butter with paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper until well blended.

Cook the Salmon

    Cook Salmon

    Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

Serve

    Plate the Dish

    Serve the grilled salmon on a plate, topped with warm cucumber and tomato salsa, and a dollop of spiced butter.
