Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by bringing the ribeye steaks to room temperature. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Slice the lemon in half for grilling.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the ribeye steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. During the last minute of grilling, add the lemon halves cut-side down to the grill.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the steak is grilling, wash and trim the harukei turnips and broccolini. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the turnips for 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized, then add the broccolini and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. On a serving plate, create a bed of wild arugula, lay the sliced ribeye on top, and arrange the sautéed turnips and broccolini on the side. Squeeze the grilled lemon over the steak and vegetables, and drizzle with remaining olive oil.
