Meatballs Preparation

Make the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Cook the Meatballs
Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Combine Meatballs and Sauce
Return the meatballs to the skillet and let them simmer in the sauce for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through.

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Toss the cooked linguini with the marinara sauce and meatballs. Serve with additional parmesan cheese on top.
