Fish Marinade

Method

Preparing the Fish

1

Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine the lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Mix well.

2

Coat the Fish

Add the tilapia fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Making the Tropical Salsa

3

Combine Salsa Ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix together the diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, minced jalapeño, lime juice, and salt. Stir until well combined.

4

Chill the Salsa

Cover the salsa and let it chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Cooking the Fish

5

Cook the Tilapia

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a little olive oil if needed. Place the marinated tilapia fillets in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

6

Serve

Once the tilapia is cooked, serve it hot topped with the tropical salsa.
