Preparation of Shrimp

Season the Shrimp
In a bowl, combine the peeled and deveined large shrimp with Cajun seasoning and olive oil. Toss well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated with the seasoning.

Marinate the Shrimp
Let the shrimp marinate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
Creole Sauce

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic, chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are softened.

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in the diced tomatoes, hot sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Cooking the Shrimp

Cook the Shrimp
Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet with the Creole sauce. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, stirring occasionally.

Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve the Twisted Cajun Shrimp hot, drizzled with extra Creole sauce if desired.
