Main Ingredients

Method

Preparing Edamame

  1. 1

    Rinse Edamame

Place the edamame pods in a colander and rinse them under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris.

  2. 2

    Boil Water

Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil over high heat. Add a generous amount of salt to the boiling water.

  3. 3

    Steam Edamame

Once the water is boiling, add the edamame pods to the pot. Cover with a lid and steam for 5-7 minutes until the pods are tender but still bright green.

  4. 4

    Drain and Season

Carefully drain the edamame in a colander and sprinkle with additional salt to taste. Set aside while you prepare the dipping sauce.

Making Dipping Sauce

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Whisk together until well blended.

  2. 6

    Garnish Sauce

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the dipping sauce for added flavor and texture.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Edamame

Transfer the steamed edamame to a serving bowl. Serve warm with the dipping sauce alongside.
