Cheese Curds Preparation

- 2
Coat the Cheese Curds
Take each cheese curd and first coat it in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Cheese Curds
Carefully add the breaded cheese curds to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Marinara Sauce Preparation

- 6
Sauté the Garlic
Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
- 7
Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Pour in the crushed tomatoes and add the oregano, salt, sugar, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- 8
Simmer the Sauce
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the chopped fresh basil just before serving.
