Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Spinach

Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly and chop it coarsely. If using frozen spinach, thaw it and squeeze out any excess moisture.

  2. 2

    Prepare Artichokes

If using canned artichokes, drain and rinse them, then chop them into smaller pieces. If using frozen, thaw and chop.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and sour cream. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend until smooth.

  2. 4

    Add Spinach and Artichokes

Stir in the chopped spinach and artichokes into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.

  3. 5

    Season the Mixture

Add garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the bowl. Mix thoroughly to ensure even seasoning.

  4. 6

    Add Mozzarella

Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese into the mixture until evenly distributed.

Baking

  1. 7

    Prepare Baking Dish

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the spinach and artichoke mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.

  2. 8

    Bake the Dip

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve

Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
