Vegetables

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop all the vegetables. Slice the bell peppers, zucchini, and onion, and cut the broccoli into small florets. Slice the carrot and snap peas thinly.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, red pepper flakes, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 4

    Stir-fry the Vegetables

Add the sliced onion and stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes until softened. Then, add the bell peppers, carrot, broccoli, snap peas, and zucchini. Stir-fry for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. 5

    Add the Sauce

Pour the prepared sauce over the stir-fried vegetables and stir well to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Garnishing and Serving

  1. 6

    Garnish the Dish

Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the stir-fried vegetables.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve hot as a side dish or over cooked rice or noodles for a complete meal.
