Prepare the Steak

Rest the Steak
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Prepare the French Fries

Cut the Potatoes
Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

Soak the Potatoes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Drain and pat dry the soaked potatoes. Carefully add them to the hot oil in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

Drain and Season
Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle with salt.
Prepare the Garlic Butter

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.

Add Garlic and Parsley
Once melted, add minced garlic cloves and chopped fresh parsley. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
