Shrimp Preparation

    Boil Water

    In a large pot, bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.

    Add Flavorings

    Once boiling, add the Old Bay seasoning, halved lemon, and salt.

    Simmer

    Reduce heat to medium-low and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.

    Cook Shrimp

    Carefully add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.

    Ice Bath

    Remove the shrimp from the pot and transfer to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.

    Drain Shrimp

    Once cooled, drain the shrimp and pat dry with paper towels.

    Mix Ingredients

    In a bowl, combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, prepared horseradish, and lemon juice.

    Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

    Taste the sauce and add salt as needed to enhance the flavor.
