Meatballs

Method

Meatballs Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Meatball Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Meatballs

Using your hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Bake Meatballs

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.

Bruschetta Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Baguette

While the meatballs are baking, slice the baguette into 1/2 inch slices. Brush both sides with olive oil.

  2. 5

    Toast the Baguette

In a skillet or on a grill pan, toast the baguette slices until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  3. 6

    Combine Toppings

In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, and balsamic glaze. Mix gently to combine and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 7

    Assemble Bruschetta

Top each toasted baguette slice with a spoonful of the tomato mixture and place a meatball on top of each. Drizzle with additional balsamic glaze if desired.
