Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Chop the fresh basil leaves finely and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Prepare Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes and basil.

Season the Mixture
Add salt and black pepper to the tomato mixture, and stir well to combine all ingredients.

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the Bread
Cut the baguette or Italian bread into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush them lightly with olive oil on both sides.

Toast the bread in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
