Base (choose or prepare daily flavor)
Daily Flavor Variations (pick one variation per batch)
Add-ins & Toppings (optional, use as desired)
Method
Base Preparation
- 1
Whisk base
In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups plain Greek yogurt, 1 cup heavy cream (if using), 3 tablespoons honey or simple syrup, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and slightly airy, about 1–2 minutes. Taste and adjust sweetness: add up to 1–2 more tablespoons honey if desired.
- 2
If you prefer a lighter texture, fold gently instead of vigorous whisking so the yogurt doesn’t break down.
Prepare Chosen Daily Flavor (choose one)
- 3
Strawberry compote
For fresh strawberry flavor: in a small saucepan, combine 1 cup hulled/chopped strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon water. Cook over medium heat until berries soften and mixture thickens, about 6–8 minutes. Let cool to warm before folding into base.
- 4
- 5
Roasted cinnamon-apple
Toss 1 cup peeled/chopped apples with 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Roast at 375°F / 190°C for 15–20 minutes until tender and caramelized. Cool to warm before folding into base.
- 6
Coffee (espresso) flavor
Stir 1/2 cup strong espresso or cold-brew concentrate into the base until evenly combined. If using cold-brew concentrate, taste and dilute slightly with water if too intense.
- 7
Chocolate
Melt 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate gently over a double boiler or in 20-second microwave bursts, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly, then fold into base for ribbons of chocolate; reserve some shavings to garnish.
- 8
Toasted nuts
Toast 1/2 cup walnuts or almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring, until fragrant and lightly browned (3–5 minutes). Cool and fold into base, reserving a few whole pieces for topping.
- 9
Matcha
Whisk 1.5 teaspoons matcha powder with 1 tablespoon hot water to make a paste, then stir into the base until fully incorporated for a vivid green, slightly vegetal flavor.
- 10
Mango
Fold 1 cup pureed ripe mango into the base. If mango is very thick, stir in 1 tablespoon water to loosen first so it blends smoothly.
- 11
Peanut butter
Warm 1/2 cup peanut butter briefly (10–15 seconds) to loosen, then swirl into base. For a more even distribution, beat peanut butter with 1–2 tablespoons of the yogurt base first, then fold back into the bowl.
- 12
Blueberry compote
Cook 1 cup blueberries with 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice over medium heat until berries burst and sauce thickens, 6–8 minutes. Cool slightly before swirling into the yogurt.
Assemble & Finish
- 13
Choose one prepared flavor and fold it into the base gently to create either an even mixture (for blended flavor) or visible swirls (for marbled look). Use about 3/4–1 cup of the chosen flavor per 4-cup base; reserve any extra as a topping.
- 14
Portion into serving bowls or jars. Add optional toppings as desired: sprinkle 1/4–1/2 cup granola, 2 teaspoons chia seeds, 1/4 cup toasted coconut, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
- 15
For chocolate or caramel variations, finish with a small pinch of sea salt to enhance flavor.
- 16
Serve immediately chilled, or refrigerate up to 24 hours. If refrigerated, give a quick stir before serving. Consume within 3–4 days.
