BBQ Sauce
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Toss until the wings are well coated.
Cooking
- 2
Bake the Wings
Spread the wings evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
Buffalo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well until combined and heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.
BBQ Sauce Preparation
- 4
Make the BBQ Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
Tossing Wings
- 5
Toss the Wings in Sauce
Once the wings are baked, remove them from the oven. If using Buffalo sauce, place the wings in a large bowl and pour the Buffalo sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly. For BBQ wings, do the same with the BBQ sauce.
Serving
- 6
Serve the Wings
Serve the wings hot with your choice of dipping sauce and celery sticks on the side.
