Preparation

  1. 1

    Muddle Strawberries and Mint

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh strawberries and mint leaves. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press down on the strawberries and mint to release their juices and oils. Be careful not to over-muddle, as you want to keep some texture.

  2. 2

    Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from both halves into the muddled strawberries and mint. You can also add the lime halves to the mixture for extra flavor.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the white rum and simple syrup into the glass with the muddled strawberries, mint, and lime juice. Stir the mixture gently to combine all the ingredients.

  2. 4

    Add Club Soda

Top off the mixture with club soda, pouring it slowly to avoid excessive fizz. Gently stir again to mix.

Garnishing

  1. 5

    Garnish Your Mojito

Add a few slices of fresh strawberry on top of the drink and a sprig of mint for a beautiful presentation.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately with a straw or a stirrer for mixing.
