Burger Patty

Garlic Butter Aioli

Assembly

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Patty Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, chopped jalapeño, buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Grill the Patties

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, sprinkle crumbled bacon on top of each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

Make the Cheese Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Roux

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for about 1 minute until it turns a light golden color.

  2. 5

    Add Milk and Cheese

Slowly whisk in milk and bring to a simmer. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.

Make the Garlic Butter Aioli

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and melted butter. Season with salt to taste. Set aside.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the pretzel buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 8

    Build the Burger

Spread a layer of garlic butter aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Place a patty on top, followed by a generous drizzle of cheese sauce. Close with the top half of the bun.
