Prepare Tater Tots
- 1
Bake Tater Tots
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake according to package instructions until golden and crispy, usually around 25-30 minutes. Stir halfway through for even cooking.

Cook Chorizo
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chorizo sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
- 3
Add Cream Cheese
Reduce the heat to low and add the cream cheese to the skillet with the chorizo. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and well combined.
- 4
- 5
Add Jalapeños
Fold in the diced jalapeños and mix thoroughly. Keep the queso warm on low heat.
Make Spicy Ranch
- 6
Mix Spicy Ranch
In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing and hot sauce. Stir well and set aside.
Assemble Queso Tots
- 7
Combine Tots and Queso
Once the tater tots are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them on a serving platter. Pour the chorizo queso over the tater tots evenly.
- 8
Garnish
Top the queso-covered tater tots with the diced bacon and sliced green onions.
- 9
Serve with Spicy Ranch
Drizzle the spicy ranch over the top or serve it on the side for dipping.
