    Boil the Water

    In a kettle, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.

    Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the tea leaves or tea bag. Allow it to steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

    Strain or Remove Tea

    If using loose tea, strain it out using a fine mesh strainer. If using a tea bag, simply remove it.

    Add Milk and Sweetener (Optional)

    If desired, add 0.5 cups of milk and 1 tsp of sugar to taste, stirring well.
