Method

Crust

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter.

  2. 2

    Mix and Press

Stir the mixture until well combined. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer.

  3. 3

    Pre-bake the Crust

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Filling

  1. 4

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

  2. 5

    Add Sugar and Sour Cream

Gradually add the granulated sugar and sour cream to the cream cheese, mixing until fully incorporated.

  3. 6

    Add Vanilla and Flour

Mix in the vanilla extract and all-purpose flour until smooth.

  4. 7

    Add Eggs

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just blended. Do not overmix.

  5. 8

    Pour Filling into Crust

Pour the cream cheese filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan.

  6. 9

    Bake the Cheesecake

Bake the cheesecake in the oven at 325°F (160°C) for 55-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.

  7. 10

    Cool and Chill

Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour. Then, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
