Preparing the Patty

Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Form Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties, about ¾ inch thick.
Cooking the Burger

Add Bleu Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place a generous amount of bleu cheese on each patty, allowing it to melt slightly.
Assembling the Burger

Prepare Buns
While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or in a toaster.

Add Lettuce and Tomato
On the bottom half of each bun, place a couple of lettuce leaves and a slice of tomato.

Finish Assembly
Once the patties are cooked and topped with melted bleu cheese, place each patty on top of the lettuce and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
