Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Patty

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together thoroughly until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty. Ensure that the patties are uniform in size for even cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and they are golden brown.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty. Cover the skillet to help melt the cheese.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Buns

While the cheese is melting, slice the hamburger buns in half and toast them lightly in another skillet or toaster.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked chicken patty with melted cheese. Add a slice of tomato on top and drizzle with sriracha sauce to taste. Finally, add the top half of the bun.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately while hot with your choice of side dishes.
