Steak

Garlic Butter

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix the softened unsalted butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, and lemon juice until well combined. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prep the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries. Rinse in cold water and pat dry with a towel.

Cooking the Fries

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips in batches to the hot oil. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.

Cooking the Steak

  1. 5

    Season the Steak

Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Grill the Steak

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and place the steaks on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust according to your desired doneness.

  3. 7

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve the Dish

Place the grilled steak on a plate alongside a generous serving of fries. Top the steak with the prepared garlic butter and serve immediately.
