Instructions
- 1
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, smoothing out any wrinkles and allowing overhang for easy removal.
- 2
Place dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in 20-30 second bursts, stirring between bursts until smooth.
- 3
Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the parchment-lined sheet and spread into a thin, even layer about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick. Tap the sheet gently to remove air bubbles. Chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes until set.
- 4
Melt the milk chocolate in the same manner, then spread a second layer directly on top of the dark chocolate layer. Keep the layer thin and even. Chill for another 10-15 minutes until firm.
- 5
Melt the white chocolate and pour as the final layer over the milk chocolate. Use a spatula to spread into an even layer. Chill for 15-20 minutes until set.
- 6
Sprinkle sea salt flakes over the top. If using, sprinkle crushed almonds or pistachios for extra texture and flavor.
- 7
Once all three layers are fully set, break the bark into 16 equal pieces and serve. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
